ComicScene has, for over five years, introduced many comic readers and ex readers to the amazing world of comics! We have learnt so much along the way too!
This week we launched ComicScene International Issue 1 - bringing ‘fandom’ into the 21st century with a weekly newsletter. As part of your subscription you get to read comics too, as you get password access to our ComicScene+ Digital Library.
Many of us were introduced to our first comic by our parents/carers.
We recognise that some of the titles in the main ‘library’ can be adult in nature and not suitable for your grandchildren, children or kids in general. However you may be keen to introduce them to comics and, as they are a different generation to us old yins, they will lap up reading them in digital. So we are introducing ComicScene+ ‘channels’, the first of which is our kids channel, in which we we will place kid friendly comics.
You won’t pay any extra for your subscription. You will get access to a new password for each channel. More channels will be added to reflect different comic audiences. The main library will continue to feature all titles. So you can safely use the password for the kids channel and let your children enjoy the comics there. As they get older they can then enjoy all the comic titles in the library (from kids comics to manga).
The first comic in the ComicScene+ Kids Channel is the fabulous Milford Green by Samuel George London and Mikael Hankonen. To read this book in the kids channel subscribe and get the kids channel password and use it here. Current subscribers will be sent the password soon. More titles will be added to the Channel over the next twelve months. To subscribe, get access to our ComicScene+ Comic Channels and your weekly ComicScene International News click the button below for your option. You will also get a free kid friendly comic with your subscription posted out to you. Thank you.
